for any lingering confusion:
slinky set the bees upon bill by covering the beer bottle with queen bee pheromones then releasing the hive later outside.
bill doesn’t want to confess to anything because this really is all his fault.
slinky is being himself and would not be help to the police even on the best of days.
and finally squiggles price for snitching is very low, with a medium bell curve toward entertainment.
