sorry, on monday i had a day of inspiration that had nothing to do with this comic

marketing is the root of all evil.

think of every terrible advertisement you’ve ever seen or heard. i mean the really really nerve racking ones that could only be compared to witnessing a screaming baby dragging nails all over a chalkboard while “friday” is playing in the background all at 200% normal volume.

Marketing not only approved those ads, they PAID for them. MONEY. and then they got paid. for their good job. in what i can only assume is their currency: babies for eating.

a little over a year ago i designed this character. he was used for a random thought comic, but i always liked his design.
so here a year later i think he’s found his place.

this is really about the only thing i remember about irc

i think a lot about what words mean, why they mean what they do, and how silly a majority of them are. We have this thing in culture where if you hear something enough times you understand the meaning, but don’t stop and think about what you just said.

How many times have you sat and though about “goodbye”? why is it good? turns out it’s a mixture of words that you’ll just have to look up if you care to.

i’ve done this a few times just from the thought process of “well, i’ll know when i find it!”
and on really special occasions i’ll keep looking AFTER i’ve found it.
