i’ve just been so worried about making any shirt or other stuff designs because the characters aren’t staying the same… since i don’t use a template for any one but snape, they keep looking different. just look back even a week ago, they are-a-changin’ so that’s why no mech, sorry that only andy is available, you guys don’t even know him!

i been visiting a lot of doctors lately, and the word “Quack” has been uttered from my lips more than once, with an occasional “vulture! *cough* *cough* HACK! *cough*” but all in all it’s not been a fun trip, and as such i’ve been neglecting the comics a bit, but haven’t fallen behind. just thought you’d like to know.

i’ve got some good news, and bad news. bad news is: i think it might be hiding under the fridge. good news (and utterly unrelated) is that i have a brand spanking new scanner. so what does this mean? it means i can scan stuff that i hand draw a lot faster and be able to finally work on andy a bit. and the shirts and stuff.

i am surrounded by a big ol’ coincidence. today is the 300th comic, soon after “300″ has topped the movie lists and now i’m sure you think it’s unrelated but i’ve also just made a comic where both characters in it have noses AND ears. the stars have aligned. you must worship me.

i’ve announced to the public the annual holiday: “Revenge day” the day where april-fools sort of jokes are directed at a select few. those who have many enemies should watch what they eat, or open on this magnificent holiday. or at the very least draw a comic doing it for you..

i am surrounded by an overwhelming feeling to hide eggs, and force people who don’t know about it to unwittingly find them… months from now. but alas, that ship has sailed, as revenge day is long over. i wonder if all those stains came out?

i always wanted to make a comic like one of my heros, bill waterson. but despite my intentions i feel like i’ve failed. as much as i wanted to make “calvin & hobbes” i’ve ended up putting politics and religion running rampant through my frames. at first, i was sad, and while i still wish slinky could be as deep as calvin, i like how things are turning out. so… uh, yeah. i think about this every time i make a political comic.

i’m pretty sure that most of you would get a good laugh at some of the things i do when thinking. like today’s comic, #350, i’ve done that one a lot. i also balance things on my head, ranging from pillows to water bottles. i also make all sorts of noises, laughing, and spluttering gibberish. one of my favorites is ad-libbing to TV commercials.
